Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology
To see if Emi Suzuki is accepting new patients, or for assistance finding a UC Davis doctor, please call 800-2-UCDAVIS (800-282-3284).
My philosophy of care is based on utilizing evidence-based medicine and a team-based approach to deliver the best possible care for my patients. I understand that it can seem complicated and oftentimes scary for patients and families to meet with doctors. Every individual has a unique background and set of circumstances that may influence their individual goals. I truly believe it is a privilege to care for children, and I aim to take these goals into account when establishing an individualized care plan.
Dr. Suzuki is a pediatric gastroenterologist who cares for patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including constipation, celiac disease, feeding disorders, and liver diseases. She is interested in general pediatric gastroenterology but also has a special clinical interest in eosinophilic esophagitis and inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Suzuki's interests include improving the quality of care in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. She has an interest in improving transitions of care from when patients are hospitalized to when they are seen in the clinic.
