Philosophy of Care
I believe in promoting child wellness by optimizing children's physical and mental health, as well as their development. I strive to do this by practicing compassionate and evidence-based medicine, and by partnering with parents, Pediatric medical and surgical specialists, mental health providers, and community organizations.
Clinical Interests
Dr.Yuk is a general pediatrician who provides comprehensive care to children of all ages. Her clinical focus is on serving vulnerable Pediatric populations, including children in foster care.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr.Yuk’s academic interests include role of adverse childhood events and trauma in child health and well-being, delivery of trauma-informed care, and child abuse prevention in general Pediatrics.
